Port Royal Plantation

Imagine 54 holes of legendary golf nestled within one of Hilton Head Island's most pristine plantations along the Atlantic coastline. This golf haven was designed by some of the best golf architects, such as George Cobb, Pete Dye and William Byrd, and it has been honored with the presence of some of golf's legendary players, having hosted the Champions TOUR Hilton Head Seniors International.

The new Champion Bermuda greens are small and protected by bunkers and Bermuda rough, demanding a deft touch with medium and short irons. This is a golf challenge where accuracy, not length, is paramount.

At the Port Royal Golf Club, you can choose your 18-hole pleasure: Barony, Robber's Row and Planter's Row.

Oyster Reef

The Oyster Reef Golf Club opened in 1982 and was immediately recognized as one of the top 25 new courses in America. This Rees Jones design has been voted one of the top 20 courses in the Carolinas and enjoys a reputation as a favorite among Hilton Head Island golfers.  Carved out of 190 acres of breathtaking low country terrain, Oyster Reef Golf Club's spectacular 18-hole championship course is surrounded by winding lagoons, lush vegetation, and scenic views of the Island.

Golf course architect Rees Jones used the natural landscape to create an inspiring course that combines challenge with a sense of fair play. Ranging from 7,014 yards from the championship tees to 5,288 yards from the forward tees, the course rewards and tests golfers of all skill level.

Oyster Reef is home to one of the most spectacular holes on the entire island, the par-3 sixth, which plays 192 yards from the championship tees to a green that is set against the backdrop of the beautiful Port Royal Sound.
